Claire & Miles | Magnolia Plantation Wedding

The good thing about being so behind on blogging is that I get to revisit blissful summer days when it’s rather gloomy and leafless outdoors. So how about a field trip this colorful Magnolia Plantation wedding to see how Claire and Miles started their married life together? You may have already seen this wedding featured on The Wedding Row, but if you’re itching for sandal weather, this post might help you feel some warm rays.

Cory Winn at Loluma did a great job with design and planning – they even installed misting fans outdoors to keep guests cool during the ceremony. Funny thing was, that’s about the time the raindrops started!

I loved the blues and greens at this wedding, and the bridesmaids looked great in their short navy dresses! Smaller wedding parties are a lot of fun, especially if you’re getting ready in a cozy space.Parasols, guitars and flowers by the aisle for this outdoor ceremony at Magnolia Plantation.

Summer showers are common during Charleston weddings, but they rarely make the day a washout and usually allow a window for outdoor portraits.

Wedding guests were highly entertained by the medley during the father-daughter dance at the Magnolia Carriage House reception.

This is subtle, but I couldn’t resist this shot as both Claire and Miles fiddled with their wedding bands. Marriage takes a little getting used to!
