Most people don’t think much about Christmas in July, but I think the steamiest summer days are a great time to reflect on the bitter chill of a cozy winter day. Actually, this late December day was rather mild, proving Charleston brides can pull off an outdoor wedding any month of the year. Mossy oaks, evergreens, berries and roses were simple and elegant, both indoors and out. The bride’s daughters were adorable attendants, and all the kids had a blast dancing, throwing football and playing cornhole. Velvety red roses, hula hooping in the December sunshine and daytime dance floor fun made Katrina & Jason’s Magnolia Plantation wedding memorable. And for anyone who thinks daytime receptions aren’t as fun, invite fun guests and choose a great DJ. Only in Charleston could a winter day be so perfect!
Nothing like a December afternoon in Charleston, right? Hope you liked this winter wedding at Magnolia Plantation. I loved the more intimate guest list, the dancing and kids’ games.
