Ashley and Will are so much fun, and their families and friends fit the bill, too! Ashley found me after she attended a DeBordieu wedding I photographed last year. I was so glad she wanted to work together — I knew it would be fun to document her spunky attitude, her perfect smile and her tall, dark, handsome companion. Like other Charlotte folks I know, Ashley and Will love to come to Charleston, so we had a fun December engagement session here. Several months later, I photographed her bridal portraits in her aunt’s Mt. Pleasant neighborhood. Ashley and Will married in Charlotte in June.

Wow! What a perfectly beautiful cake from Katie Blackwell-Martin! (I’m sure it was delicious, too, but I did not sample this particular confection.)
This moment is a great example of how a second shooter can enhance your wedding coverage. While I was shooting the toast-giver, Jessica Horton was capturing the bride’s hilarious reaction.
The fantastic band, 2nd Coming, kept the dance hits coming, and most every guest spent an hour or two on the dance floor.
