As a Charleston family photographer, bringing work home from the office often means rinsing the beach from my feet. I established Carolina Photosmith ten years ago, when my children were young and first taught me how much moments matter.

I'll capture how you look, but my goal is to help you preserve how it feels. Whether you're vacationing with family, documenting a milestone or celebrating a reunion, I would love to capture your here and now for later.

For a decade, I documented wedding days from Kennebunkport to Cumberland Island. In 2019, I reclaimed my weekends and became a travel advisor, and I continue to photograph portraits. It was tricky timing, launching a new business with a pandemic looming, but it's a good mix and another way for me to help people make memories.

I love photographing at the beach, in backyards, in moss-draped parks, along streets in historic Charleston and in my clients' happy places.
