What’s In a Name? {Bridals}

As a gal who has gone by Jen Smith for more than a decade, I have been known to envy people whose lively personalities mesh well with a fitting and/or memorable name. Facebook, in addition to hosting an not-so-exclusive group of Jennifer Smiths, offers glimpses of stellar names like Smartt, Brilliant and Witty. Singsong I’d-like-to-buy-a-vowel names like Bartoccini, DellOlio, Alimova. Whimsical names like Sass and Looney. Edible names like Bacon and Curry. Cowboy names like Cash, Frye and Wyatt. (And don’t get me started on my friend Kelley Kelly!)

Back in May, I had my very first bridal session with a fun-loving beauty known as Katie to those who love her most. Turns out this sweet, petite bride married a Spaniard with a name much bigger than she is. Although she wed in another town (while I was on my annual family vacation), she trekked to Charleston to spend an hour or two giggling with her sis and sporting her gorgeous gown in three locations, all within a couple of miles of my house. Hopefully the images below are fitting for the regal Mrs. Francisco Blanco-Silva. Congrats, Kaitlin!
