This young family is so much fun! It was surprisingly cool and breezy on the night of session, so we skipped the beach and stayed in grandmama’s lush yard. Palms, jasmine, oleander. Summer’s on the brink – can you smell it? Even though a light sweater felt nice to the sensible (wimpy!) adults, the boys thought nothing of going from poolside splashing to the full dunk. The only bad part was the teeth chattering that came after leaving the water! The brothers were just doing their thing — hopefully these moments capture their true personalities.

Mom did a great job with the clothing choices. The lemon and chocolate tones really popped against the striped cushions, potted plants and vine-covered fencing. I played up the lemony tones with a vintage look on these, but the family will see traditionally processed pics as well as some timeless black-and-white images.
