Shawn and Caryn met on Nantucket when he was in the Coast Guard. Fast forward a few (!) years, and the two tied the knot at Mt. Pleasant’s Tidewater Chapel with a couple dozen of their favorite folks. His Louisville style comes through with snappy Derby-esque details like an embroidered Lilly Pulitzer sportcoat and fun argyle socks to kick up the guys’ saddle oxfords. His adorable bride Caryn was picture-perfect in her silk dress from LulaKate and Kate Spade slingbacks. Classic pearls and happy pompom peonies by Out of Hand were the perfect adornments for this dancing queen! Love the monogrammed pashminas Caryn chose for her bridesmaids. All this fun color — and so many laughs and smiles — and you wouldn’t even know that rain and gloom threatened throughout the day.
