Charleston Bridal Portraits | Ashley

Ashley married Will in Charlotte last weekend, but she traveled to Charleston for their December engagement session and to shop for the perfect wedding dress at the Gown Boutique. She made a final trip to shoot Charleston bridal portraits. Although a stormy week made us change our venue from a potentially muddy plantation, we were fortunate that her aunt in Rivertowne had a friend with a lovely home on the water. We managed to avoid rain and take in lots of scenic views and Wando River breezes.

Oh, and since she didn’t bring a bouquet on the jaunt from North Carolina, I picked up a single glorious hydrangea at Whole Foods for her to have during the portrait session. The touches of pink on the bloom provide just a hint of what her wedding reception was like, so stay tuned!
