Colorful Family Photography | Boone Hall Plantation

I feel rather fortunate to live so close to Boone Hall, “America’s most photographed plantation.” I love driving my little Jeep down the spectacular avenue of oaks on a quiet afternoon, pretending I live there, like Rachel McAdams got to do when she played Ryan’s Gosling’s girl in “The Notebook.” Flowers and trees are often in bloom, but even in the off-season, it is lush, green with mossy splendor by the creek. I really enjoyed shooting this family session at Boone Hall, and it is fun to share the plantation with out-of-towners like this adorable Floridian family.
