Faceless Friday #25 | Mom Loves Baby Soft

The motherly sweetness just oozes from this glimpse of a mom and her plumply sweet six-month-old daughter. I usually prefer my black and white images to be just that — with bright whites and dark blacks. But this image needed a softer treatment for their matching velvety skin and those scrumptious “bittytiny” toes. (That’s my son’s word for squeezable small-scaled treasures.)

Sidebar: Anyone remember the silo-shaped bottles of pink, powdery Love’s Babysoft perfume? I think it was popular sometime between Le Freak’s “Chic” and Journey’s Escape album. So I heard.

    • admin - Why yes, Mrs. Sailor! I love sweet moments – and when the scale of tiny digits is obvious next to mama’s hands.ReplyCancel

  • Jennifer - I love this photo, the softness of it is subtle and doesn’t go overboard, and oh those perfect little toes!ReplyCancel
