It’s been a little wedding-centric here, but I’ve had fun shooting some Boone Hall family photography recently! One of the best things about my job as a photographer is documenting growing families. It starts with weddings and merging two families, and sometimes adorable little people are soon to follow. (This year, in particular, has been a banner year seeing wedding clients share baby announcements. How fun it would be to get them all together!)

I’ve known Heather since our single days when we worked together at a local software company. I had the pleasure of photographing the day she married Brian at the Rice Mill. They live in San Francisco, so I was happy to create some family photos for them on their Thanksgiving trip to Charleston. Evie kept us busy and kept ditching her shoes to run on the sandy oak-lined driveway and tabby surface at Boone Hall’s Cotton Dock. I look forward to meeting her baby brother in the future. Congratulations, y’all! May your new addition bring even more joy to your family.
