The ladies started with hair and makeup by Paper Dolls in the plum suite upstairs.

Outside, Janet’s team at JVM Events was setting up for the waterfront ceremony, where shade and bug juice were thoughtful touches. Because your wedding day is the perfect time to belt out some Celine Dion with your girls!Their reactions to seeing McCallie in her gown were priceless!Instead of giving him a heartfelt letter during this pre-ceremony not-quite first look, McCallie handed a Smirnoff Ice to her almost-husband as the wedding party peered in for the surprise.McCallie’s elegant gown is by Winnie Couture in Charlotte and was perfect for the riverside ceremony.Charleston Blooms created the blue hydrangea bouquets with ribbons.Well-balanced, don’t you think?The bride’s dad was full of proud grins on the wedding day.Thomas’s family and the precious barefoot boho flower girls.Such a special moment: McCallie descended the staircase to take her father’s arm.Such happiness at this Lowndes Grove wedding!
McCallie’s brother surprised her by getting leave from his station with the Marines to attend her wedding!It’s hard to tell, but thundering skies abbreviated our portrait time. I love all the fun moments we captured throughout the day and into the night.Cake cutting can be like rocket science. This instructional moment cracks me up. Y’all, this band was so much fun! A boat is the best way to make an exit from Lowndes Grove! And I’m not just saying that since my husband and I did the same thing.
